Plakes beach is an unorganized beach covered with wilderness, there are no places for parking if you are to reach the beach, and you have to take a path covered by bushes. The water is so clear and vibrant that it seems like a part of the sky to be looked upon, the beauty is enhanced by the small pebbles and the calmness.

This beach is situated between the coastal road of Gaios and Mongonissi. A tiny islet enclosed with lush vegetation and tiny pebbles to walk down a narrow path from the road, this is a rocky island and apt for sunbathing.
