Loutsa is a long beach having fine golden sand and a paved path. It is very windy and has good strong waves making it popular among windsurfers, divers, and swimmers. Loutsa is one of the most crowded places in Athens as it is not very far from the town center.

To avoid the gathering or any hazards it is best if you can visit the beach at night to experience live music at the bars and get yourself loaded at the nearby restaurants and fish taverns.

Loutsa can easily be visited by bus from the main town of Athens, there is a bus service which runs daily. This beach has been redecorated recently, adding small but important amenities like large deck chairs on the beach, clean and smart washrooms running hot water, garbage bins, and lifeguard jackets, many eateries serving good food, a tavern, and some bars are also here.

This place is well connected to other places, giving you a scope to sightsee. From Loutsa you can go 10 km far to visit the ruins of a temple, the Byzantine church, remaining of houses and buildings in the ancient city of Bravron.
