Lalaria

Lalaria beach’s pleasant environment, clean sand, and crystal clear waters make it one of the top beaches in Greece. Lalaria beach is located in the northeastern region of the island. The white pebbles are one of the main attractions of this beach. But don’t take these pebbles with you as souvenirs. Because the loss of these pebbles is causing irreversible damage to the majestic scenery of Lalaria Beach. The Cultural Association of Skiathos has also made it clear by posting warning notices against taking these white stones as souvenirs.

Lalaria Beach’s miraculous look of the scenery, unaltered peaceful environment, precious white pebbles, and white underwater marble slabs are the unique attractions of Lalaria. It is one of the most visited and usually crowded beaches of Skiathos. The only way to reach Lalaria is by boat. You can easily rent a boat from the Capital port and from there, you can reach Lalaria Beaches. Skotini and Galazia are famous caves located at the beach and are the focus of attraction for visitors. It’s great to visit these caves. On the left side of Lalaria, there is a rock-forming bridge between and sea making beautiful scenery that looks like a submarine passage.

Lalaria Beach is a Great place for swimming, diving, and snorkling. It is also a perfect place for sunbath, meditation, and relaxing in a quiet natural environment. Lalaria Beach is an isolated beach because it is far away from Skiathos. So you cannot find deck-chairs, parasols, umbrellas, for hire. It is as suggested to bring your supplies there including cold water especially in summer, cold drinks, towels, etc. There are a variety of places to eat. Agnadio, Panorama Restaurant & Pizza, Meltemi Brunch Café, Crazy Cow Wine Bar Restaurant, Marmita, Exantas Bar Restaurant, and Basilikos are some of the restaurants and bars within the range of 1-3.2 miles near the beach.
