Agia Galini, a village near Rethymno, is a calm place of tranquillity to offer relaxation to its visitors. There is harmony in the rich cultural heritage and the picturesque landscape of this place. Agia Galini is situated on the southern coast of Crete, 70 km far from the capital town of Herakleion, making it secluded from other islands. You can reach here by renting a car from Herakleion or Rethymno, or you can avail yourself of the bus service which is more accessible in summer than in winter. After you reach the small village of Agia Galini, you will discover the picturesque view of the Aegean Sea from the beach.
