On the east coast of Paros, there is a long sandy and sea-scented beach known for windsurfing and water sports, named Chrisi Akti. The tiny waves make the ambiance cool, calm, pleasant, and windy. This beach is divided into two parts. The western part is the organized golden beach having fine-textured sand and crystalline waters. The east part is the Aptera beach, which is comparatively less organized and has become more like a private beach.
